On the occasion of the release of Guillermo del Toro's highly anticipated adaptation, the Cinémathèque delves into the early Spanish-language part of the Mexican director's career, while also featuring a bonus screening of Universal's iconic 1931 adaptation.
The filmmaker's debut feature, never released in Luxembourg, introduces del Toro's fascination with the monstrous and supernatural within a vampiric tale filled with emotional challenges.
