A true icon of Portuguese pop, Paulo Gonzo has been enchanting audiences for over forty years with his unique voice and emotionally charged songs. Co-founder of the Go Graal Blues Band, he launched his solo career in 1984 with the hit So do I, followed by My Desire (1986) and his Portuguese-language albums Pedras da Calçada and Fora d'Horas.
His song Jardins Proibidos remains one of the greatest classics of Portuguese music, alongside Acordar, Tiro à Queima Roupa and Leve Beijo Triste. His album Quase Tudo (1997) went six times platinum, a record in Portugal.
As charismatic as ever on stage, Paulo Gonzo continues to make his mark on Portuguese culture with powerful, emotionally charged concerts—a true soundtrack to life, carried by an unforgettable voice.
