Macralles' Sabbath

Show & CultureShow & CultureEvery July 20th, the "Neurès Bièsses" or Macralles symbolically take possession of the city key and gather before their master, the "Neûr Bo," the Devil. A sound and light show features the Macralles (witches) narrating humorous anecdotes from the past year to their Grand Master Beelzebub in Walloon, with simultaneous translation provided on a big screen in French and Dutch.

Start of free activities for children at 7 p.m. Key collection at 9:15 p.m., followed by Sabbath at 10 p.m. and a concert at 11:30 p.m. Entry is €6 for those 16 and older, free for those under 16.
