Seven Methods of Killing Kylie Jenner (Jasmine Lee-Jones)
Seven Methods of Killing Kylie Jenner is a play by Jasmine Lee-Jones, performed in English by Céline Camara, Marie-Christiane Nishimwe, and Nora Zrika; directed by Anne Simon with assistant Lea Lieser. Cleo, isolated in her room while writing her dissertation on structural racism, is triggered by a tweet stating, 'At 21, Kylie Jenner becomes the youngest self-made billionaire ever.' She begins tweeting anonymously under the hashtag #kyliejennerfidead to express her frustration. The play combines wit, realism, and dark comedy to delve into contemporary debates on black identity, cultural appropriation, racism, and beauty ideals.
