Open Floor: House Dance is a dance jam where you can practice freely to house music. It’s a "safe space" where amateurs and professionals meet and share a friendly moment together, sometimes with a DJ.
House dance is a social dance to house music that blends salsa, capoeira, tap-dance, bboying, etc. It originated in Chicago and New York nightclubs in the 1970s and 1980s. The house dance practiced here is improvised and focuses on quick, complex steps, bounces, and floorwork.
