With the Danceperados of Ireland, experience an authentically Irish show. The world champion tap dancers combine excellence and virtuosity as they share the stage with an exceptional group of musicians.
The new show “Hooked” (meaning 'addicted' or 'charmed') merges the fascination for fishing and dance with music and singing. “Hooked” pays tribute to the customs and traditions of maritime communities, where life differs so marvelously from that in large cities. It is also an ode to the sea and rivers of the Emerald Isle, to its wild and daring nature.
The songs and stories about the sea take us back to a time when people still lived self-sufficient, simple, yet sometimes dangerous lives. The sea would give generously, but could also take back.
In this show, historical and contemporary images and videos combine with music and tap dance to create a total work of art for all the senses.
