Multiplica Lab presents a first stage of work by artists Amélie Samson (Parasites) and the collective Minuit 47 (AURA), selected for a cross-border residency organized by Rotondes, the City of Metz, and Bliiida with the support of INTERREG Greater Region and the GRACE project.
The Minuit 47 collective (Benjamin Gabriel, Victor Paredes) presents AURA, a wireless, modular musical device designed for intuitive and collective music-making. Open to all audiences, AURA emphasizes movement, physical expression, and co-creation. Developed alongside relevant communities, it is used in immersive workshops and public performances.
The Parasites installation by Amélie Samson materializes the digital noise cluttering our daily lives. Using familiar sounds, she creates organic creatures powered by pumps and set on discarded devices, embodying sensory overload and questioning the constant presence of digital noise. For the sound design, she collaborated with musician Ryvage.
