In addition to its national reputation, the Garde Républicaine Orchestra (80 musicians) is also highly successful internationally. Conducted since 1997 by Colonel François Boulanger and his deputy Colonel Sébastien Billard, the orchestra can perform the entire classical music repertoire from the 17th century to today.
The orchestra welcomes guest conductors such as Hervé Niquet, Lucie Leguay, Kanako Abe, Léo Warynski, and renowned soloists like Ibrahim Maalouf, Jodoe Devos, Karine Deshayes, Renaud Capuçon, Barbara Hendricks…
The Orchestre d’Harmonie de la Garde Républicaine is considered one of the best musical ensembles in the world and will perform at Artikuss under the direction of Lt-Col. Sébastien Billard.
