The conference "Theatre in the Digital Age: What Challenges for New Forms of Writing?" offers an in-depth reflection on the impact of digital technologies on theatrical writing. Director Jean Boillot will explore aesthetic, dramaturgical, and political issues, drawing on his artistic and theoretical experience (European Meetings of New Writings in October 2025 at Bliida - Metz, augmented dramaturgy laboratory Le Nouveau Décaméron, co-editor of the journal Théâtre et numérique – Nouveaux Imaginaires).
The conference will be followed by a discussion with the audience, moderated by author and director Godefroy Gordet from the collective Le Gueuloir.
