Life usually doesn't go as planned. Two friends, in their early forties, are set in a bi-weekly ritual of wine, words, and little daily lies. Everything goes according to plan – until one of them makes a new announcement: she wants to die. Quietly, consciously, on the sofa. Just breathe out.
The other reacts with a full range of shock, reason, and friendship. But, faced with such composure, no good advice seems to work. So she goes along – as a final proof of loyalty.
What develops is an offbeat comedy full of misunderstandings, lost control, and a great desire to live. Because when you plan death too carefully, life tends to get in the way. And in the end, the question is not who dies, but who’s really playing which part. And when you think life is over, it often has just begun.
