Life often turns out differently than planned. Two friends, in their early forties, settled into a bi-weekly ritual of wine, talk, and little white lies. Everything goes according to plan until one of them comes up with a new one: she wants to die. Peacefully, consciously, on the couch. Just exhale.
The other reacts with a range of shock, reason, and friendship. But faced with such calmness, no good advice works. So she goes along with it—as a last act of loyalty.
What unfolds is a wild comedy full of misunderstandings, loss of control, and strong will to live. Because when you plan death too precisely, life tends to intervene. And in the end, the question isn't who dies, but who is playing which role. And when you think you're done with life, it usually just begins.
