Chair de ma chair (Camille de Bonhome)
After a very long tour, an actress prepares to play her final major role, that of a midwife, a privileged witness to the mysteries of birth since the Middle Ages. On stage, she undergoes a mysterious interrogation that shakes her own identity and that of her character. Through this double portrayal, the actress and her role, "Chair de ma chair" explores the stage as a place of guilt and examines the impossibility of narrating childbirth, birth as a powerful human expression beyond language. The play extends a stage research on the figure of the actor and the issue of exposure linked to this.
