Corporealities of the Axis Syllabus in Movement

Masterclass series on the Axis Syllabus©, a tool developed in the 1990s by Frey Faust to promote dancers’ health and enrich movement practice. Each day, a concept from the Axis Syllabus archive is offered to prepare the body for dancing and to encourage healthy, effective, and conscious movement approaches. The programme includes workshops by Baris Michi & Emanuela Iacopini (resources for movement perception), Frey Faust (floor work), Francesca Pedullà (connection of the shoulder girdle and heart), and Manuela Martella & Jérôme d’Orso (Contact Improvisation and perception through the hands).
A performance by the artists will take place on 31 May at 6pm as part of the DIVERSE Events 2026 programme.
