Deadline – William Cardoso

- exhibition
In his new creation Deadline, Luxembourgish-Portuguese choreographer William Cardoso explores rupture as a catalyst for transformation. Through a compelling trio performance, the piece questions our ability to break free from established patterns, drawing inspiration from Krishnamurti’s philosophy on the radical act of letting go. Suspended between resistance and surrender, the piece unfolds in a liminal space where certainties waver and new possibilities emerge. Cardoso crafts a dynamic interplay of destruction and creation, urging us to reconsider our attachments and the role of rupture in personal and societal change. Deadline is a co-production between the Théâtres de la Ville and TROIS CL | Maison pour la danse, supported by the Bourse Projet Chorégraphique: Expédition from Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg. The performance blends contemporary dance and electro-organic music, featuring three dancers on stage accompanied by Emerine Samuel.
