What if you went to meet the mysterious Fools of Vianden? Between music, legends and medieval vibes, get ready to discover a story that is as unique as it is festive! Perched on its rocky outcrop overlooking the Our Valley, Vianden Castle is home to a legend born in the outskirts of the medieval town: the Fools of Vianden.In this concert designed for the whole family, conductor Pavel Baleff and narrator Milla Trausch take us through the cobbled streets of northern Luxembourg for a warm and original afternoon. These “Fools”, as the villagers called them, were true artists whose talent constantly surprised everyone who thought they knew them. Both painters and musicians, these cheerful performers would take on different personas depending on the events taking place at the castle. Without them, the village festivities simply wouldn’t have been the same. This musical tale, specially created around an existing musical repertoire, shines a light on these multi-talented characters and brings back the festive spirit of the villages of times gone by.
