75 years ago, young John Eliot Gardiner took part in the Nativity play organized by his mother at the family home in Dorset. Each Christmas, schoolchildren, farmers, and local craftsmen would gather to sing festive hymns, read texts, or perform mimes. Decades later, Gardiner, one of the world's most famous conductors, transforms these childhood memories into a new concert programme: "Once A I Remember". This concert brings together centuries of European Christmas music in Latin, English, and German, creating a warm, joyful, and intimate atmosphere.
