Narrated concert based on the children's book by Jean de Brunhoff. Babar, the character from Jean de Brunhoff's classic children's story, grows up among humans, but this elegantly dressed little elephant is soon drawn back to his native land, the jungle, where he is unexpectedly crowned king. In his battle against the rhinoceroses, his elephant wisdom and some human tricks prove very helpful.
