Drop-in! Building Your Bank
Come to this open drop-in workshop and take part in "The Bank", a participatory project by artist collective SUPERFLEX. Known for their long-term, socially engaged works, SUPERFLEX develops projects that invite communities to imagine and shape alternative systems. At Mudam, "The Bank" unfolds as an evolving, collective process: a space where visitors are invited to contribute ideas for a future intervention in the museum’s surroundings.
Imagine designing a new bank. What should it store for the future? What should the building look like? Use your imagination to shape the bank of your dreams!
Through this activity, you will contribute to creating a collective installation that will transform Mudam’s surroundings as part of a future artwork by SUPERFLEX.
SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen. The group collaborates with various partners to rethink social and economic organization. Since Superkilen in 2011, SUPERFLEX has led major public space projects involving community participation and, more recently, the perspective of other species, rethinking urbanism towards interspecies living.
