Drop-in! Building Your Bank
Come to this open drop-in workshop and take part in The Bank, a participatory project by the artist collective SUPERFLEX. Known for their long-term, socially engaged works, SUPERFLEX develops projects that invite communities to imagine and shape alternative economic, social, and environmental systems.
At Mudam, The Bank is an evolving, collective process: a space where visitors are invited to contribute ideas for a future intervention in the museum's surroundings.
Imagine you are designing a new bank: what should it store for the future? What should the building look like? Use your imagination to shape the bank of your dreams!
Through this activity, you will participate in creating a collective installation that will transform the surroundings of Mudam and contribute to a future artwork by SUPERFLEX.
Biography: SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen. This expanded collective regularly works with a wide variety of collaborators (gardeners, engineers, audience members, etc.) and explores new models for social and economic organization through various participatory projects.
