Pierre Fontenelle and Frin Wolter surprise their audience with a varied repertoire: from Bach to the Beatles, including their own variations – baroque music sounds fresh, energetic, and modern. On the occasion of their 10th anniversary, they are releasing their first album. They approach baroque music in their own way, sometimes through faithful transcriptions, sometimes through bold and contemporary arrangements. Their 'Bach to Beatles' transforms a Bach cantata into a Beatles-like hit, while their variations on a theme by Villa-Lobos project the famous neo-baroque melody into the 21st century, ending with an energetic, rock-tinged finale! Both musicians, winners of numerous international competitions, also pursue careers as soloists and teachers.
