Underground, explorations of the depths

Show & Culture

Underground is an immersive dive into the mysteries of the underground world, between speleological exploration and poetic archaeology. Through documentary stories and portraits of characters fascinated by the underworld, the show combines visual arts, object theater, music, and video. The stage becomes a worksite where drawings, miniatures, stones, rust, testimonies, and a symphonic bass drum coexist, while the camera, sometimes a headlamp, sometimes a microscope, reveals unsuspected details. Between raw realism and dream, Underground poses the question: when we dig, what do we find at the bottom? A sensory experience, both intimate and spectacular, where each stratum reveals a little more of the secrets buried beneath our feet.
