The Commune of Strassen and the Lëtzebuerger Artisten Center (LAC) present the exhibition: From Secession to the Iconomaques. Art in Luxembourg from 1930 to 1960. This exhibition brings together a selection of works from public and private collections. Paintings and sculptures bear witness to the diversity of artistic practices and the transformations that shaped these three decades. The exhibition’s uniqueness lies in the way it connects the works, the trajectories of artists and the historical realities that shaped them. It is part of the continuity of the major exhibitions organised by the LAC, founded in 1984, in collaboration with the Commune of Strassen, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Fonds culturel national and the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.
