Theater course for children aged 6 to 9

This theater course, led by Jana Montorio, offers a fun and immersive theatrical experience for children aged 6 to 9. Activities include drama games, concentration exercises, improvisation, as well as the use of masks and puppets. Participants will embark on a creative journey with their peers that will culminate in the performance of a short play.
A typical lesson includes:
– physical and vocal warm-ups
– activities to develop concentration
– group games to encourage teamwork
– creative exercises and improvisation practice
– skits
Children will have the opportunity to use the Italian language creatively, enhance their imagination, concentration, memory, self-esteem, and foster respect and cooperation within the group.

Instructor: Jana Montorio
Schedule: Sundays from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Duration: 15 sessions of 1.5 h each (total 22.5 h)
Location: Società Dante Alighieri headquarters, rue St. Ulric 25, Luxembourg (Grund)
A final performance will take place on Sunday, April 25, 2027 (venue to be announced).
Prerequisites: Wear comfortable clothing.
