Twenty years after the creation of Born Bad Records, Jean-Baptiste Guillot has not changed direction: founded in the aftermath of a restructuring plan that affected the music industry, the label was built by going against the mainstream, claiming total independence and a clear taste for atypical careers. In two decades, Born Bad has released over 200 albums and supported a rebellious French scene. Garage, post-punk, deviant pop and electronic explorations coexist in their catalogue, with one guiding idea: allowing artists to exist without being smoothed out. In autumn 2026, the label will celebrate its twentieth anniversary during a tour with a stop at Les Trinitaires.
