Street photography has become particularly popular in recent years, notably due to the rise of smartphones and the ease of sharing images on social networks. But beyond this technical accessibility, it is above all a practice based on freedom: freedom of vision, freedom of movement, and the freedom to be present in urban spaces. Photographing the street means learning to observe differently. It requires being attentive to light, surfaces, colors, silhouettes, architecture, as well as the human interactions that shape city life. It’s in this sensitive and curious attention to reality that a personal perspective is built. This workshop is intended as an introduction to this approach. More than a technical learning, it will be about developing sensitivity: awakening your senses, refining your attention, making yourself available to what is happening around you, and learning to capture what makes a moment unique. The aim is to guide participants in building their own perspective on the city and its inhabitants.
