O Sole mio, Funiculì Funiculà... the whole world hums Neapolitan songs. Pino De Vittorio is one of the most passionate restorers working to rediscover this legendary musical school. Following the legacy of Enrico Caruso from the early twentieth century, the Italian singer brings us back to the fresh sources of this invigorating repertoire. Since the Renaissance, the people of Naples have sung a wonderful repertoire of villanellas and tarantellas. Accompanied by lutenist Bor Zuljan, a great baroque specialist, De Vittorio weaves together old and contemporary melodies to revive the unique tunes of the popular neighborhood streets.
