Show & CultureShow & CultureDive into a Middle Ages theme thanks to the Living Stories format at the Château de Sierck: an immersive encounter led by a passionate guide. During this workshop, you will learn in a lively and accessible way how to mint Sierck coins: you will mint a double denarius, reconstructed from historical sources, dating from the reign of Charles II at the start of the 15th century, using a die and blank coins. After the session, enjoy free access to the rest of the site, its ramparts, towers, and the exceptional panorama over the Moselle valley. A unique moment to learn, understand, and marvel differently at medieval heritage.
Good to know
This is a guided workshop. For the coin minting theme, the participation of young children (under 6 years old) may be adapted for safety reasons.
