Because there are a thousand ways to be a family—each of them deserves to be seen, recognized, and celebrated. The Centre LGBTIQ+ CIGALE is pleased to invite you to the second edition of Pride Family Day, a day dedicated to meeting, sharing, and inclusion. A day to celebrate all families. LGBTIQ+ families are an integral part of our society. However, they are still often invisible or face prejudice. Through Pride Family Day, the Centre LGBTIQ+ CIGALE aims to offer them positive visibility while celebrating the diversity of all families. Whether you are a same-sex parent family, heterosexual, single-parent, blended, adoptive, foster family, on a parenting journey, or simply dreaming of starting a family: you are welcome. Beyond our differences, it is the bonds, love, and support we give each other that make a family. On the program: associative village, creative workshops and activities for children, roundtable discussions and exchanges about parenthood, family diversity and inclusion, food trucks, outdoor games and activities for all ages, and many surprises to enjoy a convivial day in a warm and welcoming setting. Pride Family Day is open to all families, future parents, relatives, allies, professionals, and anyone wishing to build a society where every family finds its place. By attending, you participate in a day that celebrates diversity, encourages meeting others, and reminds us that a more inclusive society benefits everyone. We look forward to welcoming you!
