The festival celebrates its 10th anniversary with an international lineup of free concerts featuring classical, traditional, and newly composed music. Born from the ambition to make classical music accessible to everyone, Classic Metz'ival presents a program that breaks down barriers between refined and popular music, and between the classical repertoire and contemporary creation. Concerts take place in various historic and unusual venues around Metz and the Euro-Metropole: churches, chapels, historic halls, gardens, and urban spaces. Gabriel Pierné Conservatory, Les Frigos, Hôtel de Ville, Saint Maximin Church, the gardens of Saint Martin Church, Château Fabert, and other locations become concert venues for the festival. The festival also expands to Montigny-lès-Metz and Moulins-lès-Metz, supporting cultural decentralization and reaching out across the metropolitan area.
