For one weekend, the old school in Esch-sur-Sûre becomes a friendly open-air cinema. "Eng nei Zäit" The historical film by Christophe Wagner takes place in post-war Luxembourg. In 1945, Jules returns from the war and tries to rebuild his life in a country deeply affected by the conflict. When his fiancée is found murdered, an investigation leads him to discover the darker sides of the Occupation and the early post-war years. The film was awarded the Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis for Best Luxembourg Feature Film in 2016. "Superjhemp retörns" Adapted from the famous Luxembourg comic Superjhemp, Félix Koch's film tells the story of Charel Kuddel, a civil servant in a midlife crisis who must regain his lost superpowers to save Luxembourg from a cosmic catastrophe. Featuring plenty of humor, many references to Luxembourgish culture, and an iconic hero, the film became a big hit with audiences. In 2021, it received the Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis for Best Luxembourg Feature Film.
