Smokey Hillbert, one-man band of blues and boogie. Singing, virtuoso on guitar and foot drums. Raw and authentic, his style mixes back-porch blues with the energy of juke joints, proving you don't need a full band to set the stage on fire. Raised to the sound of old vinyl records and late-night jam sessions, he learned to play and sing the blues. An explosive mix of slide blues and irresistible boogie. Inspired by legends such as Joe Hill Louis, Dr Isaiah Ross, Juke Boy Bonner, Adolphus Bell, and many others.
