Festivities marking the 82nd anniversary of the Liberation of Pétange

Festivities held in Pétange from 9 to 13 September 2026. Wednesday 9 September: ceremony at the American Soldier Monument in Square Hyman Josefson at 6:30 pm, followed by an open-air concert by Jos Pletschet & Friends at Site WAX at 7:00 pm. Saturday 12 September: the “Rockabilly Deluxe” festival at Place J.F. Kennedy from 11:00 am. Sunday 13 September: mass at Pétange church at 9:15 am, a ceremony at the Borne du Passeur next to the parish church at 10:30 am, followed by an investiture into the Order of Chivalry of the 7th Centenary of the Liberation of Pétange at Centre Musical et Culturel Korus at 11:00 am.
