Misunderstandings - Theatre

Show & Culture

Independent Little Lies presents a play for one person and everything that haunts her. In this one-woman show, Elsa Rauchs portrays an actress struggling with the misunderstandings that have caused her isolation. The sudden appearance of Kornél Esti, a mischievous character from Hungarian literature, disrupts her introspection. A play of mirrors emerges between the flesh-and-blood actress and this elusive being. This tender and insolent tête-à-tête explores our own ambivalences and our desire for harmony in a discordant world.
