In connection with the exhibition Séraphine Louis. De Senlis et sans rivale, the Quai numéro 7 company presents a theatrical promenade. Juliette Steiner and her team explore the missing legacy of women artists who are too little known, forgotten or deprived of their works. In dialogue with the works presented in the exhibitions, the actresses offer a visual and theatrical journey, like a surrealist collage in which women artists appear and disappear. Séraphine Louis, Marina Abramovic and Britney Spears are invited to the same table; the Guerrilla Girls meet Brigitte Fontaine and prehistoric women. They enter into dialogue with the actresses’ questions and doubts, as the latter assert their own singularities. Juliette Steiner blurs the lines between eras and figures to encourage a form of resistance through creation.
