In this monologue set in a Luxembourg where “there is plenty to do”, a young woman gets caught up in a fight at a festival. She finds herself facing her attempt to build an independent future with a food truck, as well as the lies passed on by her parents and her former relationship with an author absorbed by himself and literature. In Liss Scholtes’ staging, the stage becomes a space of freedom claimed by the protagonist. Samuel Hamen’s monologue addresses food, love, false intercultural exchanges and the freedom to speak when nobody is ready to listen.
