Meet the bats of Bétange. A true biodiversity reservoir, the site is home to nearly half of the bat species recorded in Lorraine. As part of the 30th International Bat Night and the European Heritage Days, the Association de Sauvegarde du Site de Bétange, in partnership with CPEPESC Lorraine, is organising a night outing. Accompanied by an experienced guide, discover how to observe and listen to these fascinating nocturnal mammals using an ultrasound detector, and learn about their role in ecosystems. With the support of CPEPESC and the Société française pour l’étude et la protection des mammifères (SFEPM).
