A workshop for parents of gifted children and teenagers with ADHD Supporting your child with ADHD means discovering a unique way of perceiving, feeling and engaging with the world. It means getting to know your child in all their richness: their personality, their enthusiasm, their interests, their sensitivity, their way of thinking, creating and getting excited… far beyond their ADHD. It also means encountering moments when everyday life demands more: understanding what lies behind an intense emotion, difficulty at school, a need for movement, defiance or fatigue. Observing, seeking, adapting and sometimes starting over. La Parenthèse atypique is first and foremost a space for you. A time to release tension, breathe, reconnect with yourself and regain more space and availability. From this space, we will be able to share what you experience in your daily life as a parent, in a small, warm and caring group: your questions, the situations that give you pause, what is already working, your adjustments and your discoveries. You will be able to draw on the strength of the group, on my support and my knowledge of ADHD, but also to look at what is already there: your child’s resources, your own and those of your family. So that you can leave feeling more replenished, with a few keys to shed light on your daily life and concrete approaches that respect your child and your family. Only 5 parents, to give everyone the space to breathe, share and find their place.
