Inspired by the true story of Sylvin Rubinstein, Dolores tells the story of the twins Dolores and Sylvin, who formed the flamenco duo Imperio y Dolorès in the 1930s. When Dolorès is deported because she is Jewish, Sylvin joins the Polish resistance. Disguised as a dancer, he infiltrates his enemies and soon becomes known as “the Nazi killer”. This sweeping story combines emotion, humour, dance and theatre.
