Two squirrels, an argument and a few surprise guests: a simple story created live in front of the audience using paper, scissors, colours and hand-painted moving images. The story is part of Toile Si-Re’s Semplice series. Craftsmanship is at the heart of the project: paper is moved, folded, cut, torn and transformed, without technology or electronics. Music composed for the story accompanies the projected images. The saxophone, based on Olivier Messiaen’s modes, draws the audience into a curious and surprising sound world.
