As part of the National Commemoration Day, the Municipality of Esch-sur-Sûre is holding a mass at Eschdorf church, followed by an address by the mayor, the presentation of the paving stones for the peace path and a wreath-laying at the cemetery. The programme also includes a workshop to paint paving stones and collectively create a peace path, as well as a reading with Roland Meyer from his book “Betty – Die Geschichte eines jüdischen Mädchens”.

Mass takes place from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The workshop runs from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the reading starts at 5 p.m. Reading in German and Luxembourgish, intended for children aged 9 and over, young people and adults.
