Serious TopicsSerious TopicsOn the occasion of the 2026 European Heritage Days, neimënster invites you to delve into several centuries of history around the theme “Heritage in Peril: Reviving, Resisting, Reinventing”. Young and old alike can discover traditional arts and crafts through workshops in calligraphy, bookbinding, leatherwork and much more, right in the cloister of the former abbey. You can even take home your own creation! You can also discover the fascinating history of neimënster through guided tours in several languages, including one in sign language (DGS). Concerts, performances, singing workshops and demonstrations of arts and crafts will set the rhythm throughout the weekend. An event to discover, pass on and bring heritage to life in a different way!

Saturday: Enjoy a day full of discoveries with calligraphy, bookbinding, leatherwork and gilding workshops, guided tours of neimënster, polyphonic singing, performances and several concerts. Sunday: The day continues with traditional craft workshops, guided tours and a programme of performances, artistic presentations and music, offering a different way to discover the heritage.
