of all typesof all typesThe Customisation & Co workshop, organised by the DJELEA association, is a friendly gathering for sharing skills in customising and creating clothing, accessories and small everyday items. It follows the principles of fablabs and repair cafés. The Customisation & Co workshop helps develop creativity and embrace an eco-responsible approach by promoting reuse and repair. This is not a sewing class: everyone decides on their own projects, and other participants can offer help, advice and feedback as needed. You must bring your own materials (fabric, scissors, needles, etc.). Sewing machines are available on site.
Good to know
A few examples of projects completed by participants: repairs; resizing and alterations; modifying clothing and accessories (changing a skirt waistband, shortening a jacket, removing or adding details); embellishment using different materials and techniques (embroidery, lace, fabric appliqué, attaching patches); crochet and knitting; attaching snap fasteners, sewing on buttons and zippers; jewellery repairs; sewing; cosplay; painting sneakers; customising lamps with fabric.
