Synopsis The film tells the story of a sailor, an old biker. In the early 1980s, he returns to Athens after 20 years at sea to find out what happened to his little brother, who was killed during a race. He repairs his abandoned 1939 motorcycle and hits the road. But nothing is the way it used to be. His friends have changed, the girls have gotten married, and the motorcycles have become beasts. And he is now too old for rock ’n’ roll, too young to die. The screenplay is based on real events. Forty-one years after its first screening, Andreas Tsiliifonis’s legendary, timeless cult film returns to the big screen, more dazzling than ever, thanks to an impressive 4K digital restoration. Let us lose ourselves in the nocturnal boulevards of this authentic, captivating and modern romantic noir film, an exquisite farewell to an entire generation.
