Sutra copying (Chaojing) is one of the oldest contemplative practices in Eastern culture, the slow deliberate transcription of sacred and philosophical texts using brush and ink. Unlike speed-oriented handwriting, sutra copying is about presence: each character becomes a meditation, each stroke a breath. The practice has been used for over 1,500 years by monks, scholars, and laypeople alike as a path to inner calm. Please note that there are no classes during school holidays in Luxembourg or on public holidays.
