The best way to (re)discover the fortifications listed as UNESCO World Heritage, through its 5.5 km length, crossing the Bock rock, the cornice, the ramparts, the Bock casemates and along ancient citadels. You'll see, there are some great points of view, perfect for an Insta story.

Our favorite: additional explanatory panels are placed throughout the visit, to learn even more about the history of the capital.

Thanks to light installations and interactive displays, history comes to life before your eyes, making the visit even more engaging and fun.

Fun fact: Did you know that the city's fortifications have had many unusual uses? Starting with a mushroom growing area (yes, you read that right), a champagne cellar, a headquarters for a shooting society, a concert and theater venue (on the Pétrusse side)... and both even sheltered up to 35,000 people during the raids of the First World War!

Park Pescatore has been refurbished and is now ready for the arrival of sunny days and professional picnickers like you! The green space is approximately 15,200 m2 and the paths to access are in asphalt. These roads allow you if you are pedestrian or with a stroller to move easily. There is a beautiful relaxation area with benches and a fountain. Public lighting has also been improved by the installation of 27 masts, which allows you to picnick at night. In addition, 10 lighting spots were installed on the floor, illuminating the fountain. If you are afraid of the sun, the park is well populated forest level: you can sit under tall trees in the shade.
