We meet the idiosyncratic painter and expressionist Paula Modersohn Becker.
Cordula Nossek takes us into the studios of that era and illuminates Paula's eventful, yet short, life, between the confines of the Worpswede artists' colony and the big, wide world, then known as Paris. Unknown during her lifetime, she is now considered a protagonist of modernism.
