Hänsel und Gretel - Familljefestival Chrëschtdag
Storytelling concert
Who doesn't know the tale of the two children who get lost in the forest and ultimately defeat the wicked witch who lives in a gingerbread house? With his enchanting opera, composer Engelbert Humperdinck greatly contributed to making Hansel and Gretel one of the Brothers Grimm's best-known tales, even today. In a version for today's young audiences, narrator Malte Arkona and the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by John Warner, explore this ancient yet ever-fascinating material.
