The Gasthaus Mnozil is located in Vienna's 1st district, across from the music academy. In 1992, seven young brass musicians started meeting there at Josef Mnozil's for regular musical sessions. What began as traditional folk music evolved into a versatile brass repertoire, including traditional brass, hit music, jazz, pop, opera, and operetta, all performed without sheet music, infused with Viennese wit and sophistication.
Mnozil Brass performs around 100 concerts annually worldwide: throughout Europe, as well as in Israel, Russia, China, Taiwan, Japan, Canada, America, and Australia. They take the stage at prestigious venues such as the Burgtheater in Vienna, Royal Albert Hall in London, and many other notable locations.
