Music Days Vianden Kammerata 7th Edition
- concert
- exhibition
The upcoming edition of the Music Days Vianden promises to be diverse and captivating. It opens at the castle with a fantastic evening centered around Halloween and the mysterious Count Dracula (costumes welcome). The festivities continue at the Trinitarian Church with a baroque concert dedicated to the funeral music of the 16th and 17th centuries, performed by the Ensemble Vocal du Luxembourg under the direction of Matthias Rajczik, accompanied on the organ by Maurice Clement. A Fado concert in the old cinema brings a warm and intimate atmosphere, while a children's play conceived by Catherine Kontz brings to life the story of Kunigunde, the daughter of Count Sigefried of Luxembourg. Finally, two concerts by the Kammerata Luxembourg chamber ensemble present the extraordinary setting of the Vic-Abens Hall at the heart of the castle, inviting attendees on a musical journey combining classical elegance, romantic intensity, and contemporary creativity, featuring works by Beethoven, Schubert, Reuter, Mozart, and Schönberg.
