Nomadic and daring, Duo Kiasma explores an eclectic repertoire where creativity, modernity, and virtuosity meet. Pierre Fontenelle and Frin Wolter blend the sounds of their instruments in a resolutely contemporary interpretation. For their 10th anniversary, the Duo released a first recording on Cypres, recorded at Trifolion Echternach, revisiting baroque music through refined transcriptions and inventive arrangements – from Bach to Villa-Lobos, with echoes of rock. A winner of prestigious international awards, Duo Kiasma regularly performs in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg, in renowned festivals and venues, including Philharmonie Luxembourg and Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth. For this morning performance, the Duo offers a luminous and inspiring musical journey, where tradition and artistic freedom come together with elegance.
